Crystal Mill & Slow Groovin BBQ in Marble, CO

We had decided to take a late summer adventure to Marble, Colorado. 

Our intention was to do some hiking, eat some BBQ and see the Crystal Mill, and well...


Fried okra and onion rings.

Pulled pork sandwich.

A side of baked beans.

Pulled pork "Hillybilly Nachos"


Slow Groovin' BBQ has been around since 2010.

They are open seasonally, from May 1st until October 31st.
11am-9pm daily

(*Note, the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were SO good. We took them to-go so we could continue our adventure to the Crystal Mill!)

 



Highly reccommend stopping here if you are ever near Marble, and especially if you are adventuring to the Crystal Mill!

  Did I mention a cross country move?! Cause we did that.  From the desert, to the ocean. Oh, hi!

  WELL HELLO THERE! Its only been 11 months since I last posted, haha. (12*)  When I tell you A LOT has happened... For starters, let me introduce you to Waylon!  He was my first home-birth, just before Easter, and WOW what an experience!  The last couple of posts were - I'm pregnant! We went to a BBQ restaurant! I'm pregnant again! lol. He is an awesome little boy. It took him about a month, but he is finally enjoying being a big brother! Maybe this is going to sound like a Christmas letter... but hey, we are 10 days out so why not?! (okay, so it's now January. Where did December go?) Miss Annabell was born on the Autumn Equinox, into Zac's arms. She has been the sweetest addition to our family.  Orin and Kalia have been the best biggest siblings, and have (for the most part) enjoyed stepping into these roles.
