Idaho Springs to Montezuma

So, I am definitely a picture hoarder.
I take pictures on my phone, usually of random things on our adventures, random things in general..and never delete them. Ever. Once in a while, I will delete them if I post them on a social media platform...but most of the time they still get saved in my phone for all of eternity. (and I wonder why I never have enough memory..)

I decided to add a new category to my blogs. Adventures!

That way, I can share them all with you!

I would say prepare yourself for picture overload...but I think you wont mind too much as most of these pictures look amazing, and can show you places you've never been, want to see, wont get the chance to..etc.

So here is the first of my adventures!

A couple of weeks ago, Zac and I drove the Jeep to Idaho Springs (one of our usual off-roading spots) and took some trails we had never been on. This is what that looked like!

This is the famous Argo Gold Mine in Idaho Springs, CO. You can take tours inside it! (we haven't yet) There is also a giant inflatable raft that you can rent to go on!

We then drove to the base of Colorado 14er's Gray's and Torrey's Peaks. This was at the trail head. Zac has climbed Grays multiple times with little ZigZag, I have not yet...YET

This was also around there. Let me remind you, these pictures were NOT filtered in any way, at all, whatsoever. I have often heard people say Colorado's views take your breath away...

And here are Gray's and Torrey's. Gray's is the one straight back, looking more rounded on top. It is taller than Torrey's, which is to the right almost hiding behind the mountain which was in the above picture.

We then ventured to Montezuma..an extremely tiny town in a valley...and went up such an amazing trail...

Told you they were breathtaking!

And me...cause how can you not take a Colorado Alpine selfie?!

Just a side note here...Gray's and Torrey's were somewhere in almost every single one of these pictures. See the one of me right above this? yep. They're in the back. And above that..above that...yeah. They were there, taunting me all day. I will climb them. I don't know if it will happen this year, I hope so but we're getting in to the not so great for hiking 14er weather.. So if it doesnt happen in 2014 it will for sure happen in 2015. Guaranteed.
