Covergirl Outlast All Day Lip Color

Hello Lovelies! 

 So, I made a video about these lip colors, but I didn't go into depth about how they work. So I thought I would make a blog post out of it!

 Covergirl has a lot of colors of these. I'm not sure if the 3 I have are still available or not...as we all (or do now) know that Covergirl discontinued a TON of products and specific colors... 
They now have a tool on their website that allows you to find the closest thing to the product or color you wanted which is pretty cool. Product Matcher

A few years back, I purchased a similar product from Maybelline. (side note- this was back when I had no idea how to do makeup, except use purple eyeshadow, mascara and random chapstick) I bought two pink colors, but found that after eating, drinking, or anything the color would flake off. Weather my lips were healthy or not. Needless to say, I was a bit hesitant to purchase the Covergirl ones. 

 What made me decide to purchase them, was a coupon. (OMG no way?!) Yes. A coupon. I was at a local grocery store, King Soopers (otherwise known as Kroger, City Market, Frye's...etc) and I saw that the Outlast All day Lip Colors were on closeout for $3.64. Down from $9.00 its a very good deal. I went to work that day without buying them...when I got a coupon for $2.00 off. Um, HECK YEAH I'm going to buy a lip color that supposedly lasts all day for $1.64! So I went back after work and bought one...or 3. (I had multiple coupons..so..)

 I was excited to try them because I've been very into lip stains.

Let me tell you, when you first apply the color, you have to wait for  it to dry then apply the moisturizing top coat. You will know it is dry when your lips feel...dry and unfinished..and weird. But after you apply the topcoat it will feel completely normal. Yay!

 They actually DO last all day, and only flake off if your lips are chapped/pealing. 
You can even use whatever your favorite type of lip balm you choose instead of the moisturizing top coat. 

 The other colors I got were Sunkissed, and Crushed Shells.
The top is Sunkissed, middle is Crushed Shells and the bottom is Forever Fawn

  Did I mention a cross country move?! Cause we did that.  From the desert, to the ocean. If you followed along with my Instagram or Facebook, then you somewhat know of the challenge it was to get here. (In summary, the Western Slope Curse is a very real thing, lol.) Oh, hi!

  WELL HELLO THERE! Its only been 11 months since I last posted, haha. (12*)  When I tell you A LOT has happened... For starters, let me introduce you to Waylon!  He was my first home-birth, just before Easter, and WOW what an experience!  The last couple of posts were - I'm pregnant! We went to a BBQ restaurant! I'm pregnant again! lol. He is an awesome little boy. It took him about a month, but he is finally enjoying being a big brother! Maybe this is going to sound like a Christmas letter... but hey, we are 10 days out so why not?! (okay, so it's now January. Where did December go?) Miss Annabell was born on the Autumn Equinox, into Zac's arms. She has been the sweetest addition to our family.  Orin and Kalia have been the best biggest siblings, and have (for the most part) enjoyed stepping into these roles. Crystal Mill & Slow Groovin BBQ in Marble, CO

  We had decided to take a late summer adventure to Marble, Colorado.  Our intention was to do some hiking, eat some BBQ and see the Crystal Mill, and well... Fried okra and onion rings. Pulled pork sandwich. A side of baked beans. Pulled pork "Hillybilly Nachos" Slow Groovin' BBQ has been around since 2010. They are open seasonally, from May 1st until October 31st. 11am-9pm daily Here is their full menu:  (*Note, the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were SO good. We took them to-go so we could continue our adventure to the Crystal Mill!)   Highly reccommend stopping here if you are ever near Marble, and especially if you are adventuring to the Crystal Mill!
