I was recently given the opportunity to try ChapStick's new Hydration Lock Night and Day Dual Ended chapstick! 


It came at the right time...I got a cold! Ugh! And when I get a cold my lips always suffer. And that isn't fun considering I live in Colorado which as you may know is super dry. So that doesn't help anything. 

 The sun is also super intense here...but I mean we are a mile higher than sea level in Denver..and when you go to the mountains it gets even more intense. So having sun protection for my lips is definitely a necessity. I use the Day side as a primer for my lips..It makes my lips look smoother for when I apply my lip color. 

 I use the night side as the last thing I do before I go to sleep. (I will have a nighttime routine video up soon!) It has made my lips feel so much better, it has renewed the moisture to them and made them look soft again! 


I have always used and liked ChapStick brand, my grandma always had the Original flavor, I have used the Cherry for as long as I can remember!

  Did I mention a cross country move?! Cause we did that.  From the desert, to the ocean. Oh, hi!

  WELL HELLO THERE! Its only been 11 months since I last posted, haha. (12*)  When I tell you A LOT has happened... For starters, let me introduce you to Waylon!  He was my first home-birth, just before Easter, and WOW what an experience!  The last couple of posts were - I'm pregnant! We went to a BBQ restaurant! I'm pregnant again! lol. He is an awesome little boy. It took him about a month, but he is finally enjoying being a big brother! Maybe this is going to sound like a Christmas letter... but hey, we are 10 days out so why not?! (okay, so it's now January. Where did December go?) Miss Annabell was born on the Autumn Equinox, into Zac's arms. She has been the sweetest addition to our family.  Orin and Kalia have been the best biggest siblings, and have (for the most part) enjoyed stepping into these roles. Crystal Mill & Slow Groovin BBQ in Marble, CO

  We had decided to take a late summer adventure to Marble, Colorado.  Our intention was to do some hiking, eat some BBQ and see the Crystal Mill, and well... Fried okra and onion rings. Pulled pork sandwich. A side of baked beans. Pulled pork "Hillybilly Nachos" Slow Groovin' BBQ has been around since 2010. They are open seasonally, from May 1st until October 31st. 11am-9pm daily Here is their full menu:  (*Note, the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were SO good. We took them to-go so we could continue our adventure to the Crystal Mill!)   Highly reccommend stopping here if you are ever near Marble, and especially if you are adventuring to the Crystal Mill!
