First Trimester Update!
I figure, being that I am 18 weeks pregnant, I should probably get a First Trimester Update up! So here we go!
I found out I was pregnant on Friday, November 11th, 2016. The reason I took a pregnancy test, honestly was because my husband told me I should. I had been complaining of heartburn, and peeing all the time ha.
So, I took the test that morning and it was negative. I hadn't thrown the test away, and looked at it a little later in the day. There was a VERY faint line! Naturally, I took several more tests that day that came up positive. I was 4 weeks pregnant when we found out!
Finding out I am pregnant was exciting, even though it's not coming at the most convenient time...but nothing in life ever does! And that's the beauty of it!
I scheduled an appointment for a OB appointment and an ultrasound. They couldn't get me in until I was 8 weeks, so I had to wait a month. (Just another reason we didn't go on our Bus Adventure until later)
The weeks following my positive test and leading up to my ultrasound were miserable. I didn't want to eat or do anything, and I was so sick, all day every day.

Once we had the appointment and got the very first ultrasound of our teeny babe (pictured above) we left for our adventure. I was sick most of that time.
Here's a rundown of all the fun information:
Sleep - Other than getting up to pee, I slept pretty well until the end of the trimester.
Cravings - Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Milk, Peanut Butter Toast. I didn't want to eat much, as I did not feel well most of the time.
Aversions - Chicken, Most meat doesn't sound appealing
Symptoms - Morning (all day) sickness, fatigue, shortness of breath
What We've Done To Prepare - Nothing Yet! Other than OB appointments! Like I said, we weren't entirely prepared for this, so now that we are back from our trip and looking for a home! (Also, there's nowhere to live in a converted school bus in Colorado. But that's a blog for another day!)
I had two appointments during the First Trimester. One at 8 weeks and one at 14 weeks.
There will be a video of our family's reactions when we told them once we get everything settled!
