This isn't just a regular "Mom Favorites" post... It's a "Cool Mom Favorites" post!
But really though, these are all products that I am loving. Not, "I love this because my child loves it.." but I love it because it saves me time/hassle/ I'm a mom do I really need a reason to make my life simpler?
I didn't think so!
So, without further adieu, here ya go!
The very first thing I want to talk about has become a staple of my Momiform. A simple tee shirt that comes in lots of colors and the option for V or Crew neck. A tee shirt that can be washed a bunch of times and still look cute, that can be worn around the house with sweats, or you can dress it up with some jeans and cute jewelry!
Either way, they are $3.88 at Walmart!
(NOTE: This specific color is unavailable online, but in store they have lots of colors and sizes!)

While you're at Walmart, head over to the jewelry department and pick up a pair (or two) of these amazing sunglasses! They are big enough to hide those dark circles or if you had a little too much Mommy Juice the night before! ;)
Did I mention they are only $5? (Mine are in tortoise, found in store!)

The next product that saves me some time by helping me multitask! Its the Nivea In Shower Body Lotion! When I get a shower, that is MY time. It's one of the only times that I get to be completely by myself, so I make sure to pamper myself! All bets are off though, once I step out of the shower, which means no time to slather on lotion or really anything after that!

Before I use the in shower lotion, I like to use a body scrub. For starters, exfoliating before lotion will allow the lotion to penetrate your skin the way its supposed to. And don't get me wrong, I LOVE my baby. But, its really nice to feel like I scrubbed a whole layer of motherhood off! For Mother's Day, I got the Target Beauty Box that was the Mom edition. This Soap and Glory Scrub of Your Life was in that box, and its WONDERFUL.

I haven't had my hair professionally colored since 2011. (WOW) Partially because I'm afraid I will take my hair to the dark side again, and partially because I have used Sun In to the point it looks like my color is professionally done. You can spray it liberally all over like a crazy person (hi, me!) or you can spray little chunks of hair to look more like strategically placed highlights. It works so well, it's been around since the dawn of time and it's under $5!

If you haven't been living under a rock for the past year or so, you have more than likely heard that Coconut Oil is a cure all. Honestly, I haven't utilized Coconut Oil in any part of my daily routine. That is, until I found it in an unexpected place! Dry shampoo! This also came in my Target Beauty Box! It smells ahh-mazing and it works better than any dry shampoo I have used thus far.

If you've been following me for a bit, you probably remember that there was a time I had acrylic nails on all the time. Pretty much from when I was in 6th grade up until we bought the bus. (Shameless plug: The F Bus) In the two years I haven't had my nails done, I discovered some great press on nails. Read: Grown-Ass-Woman press on nails. These things stay on my nails for about a week before the edges start lifting. Taking care of a 10 month old, two chiweenies and now 5 puppies(!) plus doing housework, dishes, hiking they STAY put. Once in a while I might have to replace a nail before I'm ready to take them off. My mom even wears these, she works in the medical field and has to wear gloves yet they stay stuck for about a week!
Being a stay at home mom, I rarely do a full face of makeup anymore. Even when I do, it's not like I'm wearing a smokey eye or anything. There are two beauty products that help me feel put together during the week! (in addition to the nails!) The first, is this hydrating sunscreen for your face! It's great, because it can be used by itself or under makeup. I wear it every day even if I'm just staying home because the sun in the desert is no joke.
The next beauty item that is a daily staple for me is mascara. It's always been my favorite makeup item, because there are so many options and one coat of the right mascara can make a world of difference. My favorite mascara right now is Benefit's Roller Lash. It curls my lashes like no other mascara I've tried, and it stays on SO well.
The last thing that is a Mom must have, and is quickly becoming a morning non-negotiable for me is coconut water. It is so refreshing, it is something sweet that I can drink without feeling crappy about it, and it just makes me feel so good mentally and physically. My absolute favorite is this one with a splash of pineapple!
That is all for this list for now! I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what your favorite things are and your feelings on my favorites!
Stay tuned for more posts to come!
