Honest Beauty

As we all know, I don't often wear makeup anymore. However, when Influenster sent me some Honest Beauty products to try out, I was super excited to get some new makeup! Honest Beauty is great because its makeup that works, is clean and safe, AND you can find it at Target!

Mascara definitely has to be my #1 favorite take with you to a deserted island, ride or die makeup product. I have favorites, but I am ALWAYS up for trying out a different one!

This mascara is amazing. Normally, I reach for volumizing mascaras. I have decently long eyelashes, I just prefer to make them look fuller / curled. (I have the hardest time keeping em curled, so if anyone has a tip let me know!) However, Honest Beauty knew what they were doing with this formula. It's so good. 


It is double sided, with a primer and then the mascara itself. It's not waterproof. but it does stay on pretty well. It makes my lashes stand out and completes my makeup looks. I highly recommend this one!

The next product I was looking forward to trying out was the Everything Primer Matte. I haven't used or even looked for a new primer in a LONG time. This stuff goes on great, its light, makes my skin feel and look super smooth for my foundation. It keeps my makeup on all day, and it looks great.

The last product I got to try was the Truly Kissable Lip Crayon - Demi Matte. It comes in 8 colors, and I got Blossom. It quickly became a go to lip product! I love the color which is a nude pink. It goes on smoothly, and is a bit build able for the color which I love. 

I definitely recommend all of these, and I am excited to check out other Honest Beauty products!

  Did I mention a cross country move?! Cause we did that.  From the desert, to the ocean. If you followed along with my Instagram or Facebook, then you somewhat know of the challenge it was to get here. (In summary, the Western Slope Curse is a very real thing, lol.) Oh, hi!

  WELL HELLO THERE! Its only been 11 months since I last posted, haha. (12*)  When I tell you A LOT has happened... For starters, let me introduce you to Waylon!  He was my first home-birth, just before Easter, and WOW what an experience!  The last couple of posts were - I'm pregnant! We went to a BBQ restaurant! I'm pregnant again! lol. He is an awesome little boy. It took him about a month, but he is finally enjoying being a big brother! Maybe this is going to sound like a Christmas letter... but hey, we are 10 days out so why not?! (okay, so it's now January. Where did December go?) Miss Annabell was born on the Autumn Equinox, into Zac's arms. She has been the sweetest addition to our family.  Orin and Kalia have been the best biggest siblings, and have (for the most part) enjoyed stepping into these roles. Crystal Mill & Slow Groovin BBQ in Marble, CO

  We had decided to take a late summer adventure to Marble, Colorado.  Our intention was to do some hiking, eat some BBQ and see the Crystal Mill, and well... Fried okra and onion rings. Pulled pork sandwich. A side of baked beans. Pulled pork "Hillybilly Nachos" Slow Groovin' BBQ has been around since 2010. They are open seasonally, from May 1st until October 31st. 11am-9pm daily Here is their full menu:  (*Note, the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were SO good.
