What's in My Shower, Mary Kay Edition

 There are a lot of things in my shower... I mean I have 4 kids and a husband, so we're talking about A LOT (and MANY kids toys...) so I thought it would be fun to share what I keep in there from Mary Kay!


First up, we have the White Tea & Citrus Satin Lips Shea Sugar Scrub. Personally, I like how lip scrubs make my lips feel, but I have never enjoyed actually using them. Doing the lip scrub in the shower is the best option for me, and to habit stack it so I actually remember to do it!

Next, I like to keep the Microdermabrasion scrub in the shower. No, I don't use it every time I shower. Generally once a week. It is much easier to rinse off in the shower than to try to wipe it all off with a washcloth or something.

Finally, I have the 2 in 1 Body Wash & Shave Gel. Short storytime: when I placed my very first Mary Kay order, I wanted to try everything so I could be truthful and have an actual opinion and review on the products. Its never fun to tell someone you've never tried the products you're selling! (or a good business practice, for that matter!) So I picked up this gel bundled with the lotion. When I got it, I was not 100% on board with the scent, if I am being honest. BUT, the way it makes my legs feel! Wow. It works SO well. And the smell once its actually washing you instead of just in the bottle was a lot better. I don't want to shave my legs without this, at this point!

  We had decided to take a late summer adventure to Marble, Colorado.  Our intention was to do some hiking, eat some BBQ and see the Crystal Mill, and well... Fried okra and onion rings. Pulled pork sandwich. A side of baked beans. Pulled pork "Hillybilly Nachos" Slow Groovin' BBQ has been around since 2010. Oh, hi!

  WELL HELLO THERE! Its only been 11 months since I last posted, haha. (12*)  When I tell you A LOT has happened... For starters, let me introduce you to Waylon!  He was my first home-birth, just before Easter, and WOW what an experience!  The last couple of posts were - I'm pregnant! We went to a BBQ restaurant! I'm pregnant again! lol. He is an awesome little boy. It took him about a month, but he is finally enjoying being a big brother! Maybe this is going to sound like a Christmas letter... but hey, we are 10 days out so why not?! (okay, so it's now January. Where did December go?) Miss Annabell was born on the Autumn Equinox, into Zac's arms. She has been the sweetest addition to our family.  Orin and Kalia have been the best biggest siblings, and have (for the most part) enjoyed stepping into these roles. When I Said Exciting Things Were Coming...

  Did I mention a cross country move?! Cause we did that.  From the desert, to the ocean. If you followed along with my Instagram or Facebook, then you somewhat know of the challenge it was to get here. (In summary, the Western Slope Curse is a very real thing, lol.) I could give you a day-by-day rundown of what has happened since we arrived, but I will save that for another, better post. In the meantime, just know that things are not at all what we were told  they would be. Its been a lot of feeling like we have been 100% in survival mode.  Aside from the beauty and amazing people here in North Carolina. I could focus on the negative, or I could tell you that Zac has taken the oldest two fishing or just in the canoe every day. I got to see the ocean WITH my kids, and their minds were blown.
