On To The Next..

As I write this, my almost 6 month old baby just rolled over on to his side while hes sleeping. This morning, I discovered he popped through a 2nd tooth!



2018 is already off to an exciting start!

I had typed this out once before.. and it never came out the way I wanted. The draft has been sitting unpublished since January 1st.

2017 was an absolutely crazy year. SO much happened.




We traveled, I was pregnant for most of the year, I gave birth to my amazing baby boy, Orin, who continues to amaze me every day. We moved to the town that our souls had been pulled to for so long.




To say I learned a lot about myself last year is an understatement.

It feels like 2017 was at least 4 years long and happened at least 2 years ago!

We started 2018 fresh and ready to take on the year!

I have some great things coming to the blog, and my YouTube channel this year!
With everything that has been going on on social media lately, I am very excited to try to bring positivity and light in the world! That is not to say that my life is all flowers and smiling babies. There is a reason I'm not deeply "Year in Reviewing" 2017. There are days I don't feel like getting out of bed. It happens to most people! But I am going to try to show that you can overcome these days.


I am excited for this year to see my baby boy grow, and learn new things. To take him places, share new experiences with him! {And his 1st birthday!!!)  I'm excited to see Zac and I grow as parents, and to see what this year has in store for our little family!

  Did I mention a cross country move?! Cause we did that.  From the desert, to the ocean. If you followed along with my Instagram or Facebook, then you somewhat know of the challenge it was to get here. (In summary, the Western Slope Curse is a very real thing, lol.) I could give you a day-by-day rundown of what has happened since we arrived, but I will save that for another, better post. In the meantime, just know that things are not at all what we were told  they would be. Oh, hi!

  WELL HELLO THERE! Its only been 11 months since I last posted, haha. (12*)  When I tell you A LOT has happened... For starters, let me introduce you to Waylon!  He was my first home-birth, just before Easter, and WOW what an experience!  The last couple of posts were - I'm pregnant! We went to a BBQ restaurant! I'm pregnant again! lol. He is an awesome little boy. It took him about a month, but he is finally enjoying being a big brother! Maybe this is going to sound like a Christmas letter... but hey, we are 10 days out so why not?! (okay, so it's now January. Where did December go?) Miss Annabell was born on the Autumn Equinox, into Zac's arms. She has been the sweetest addition to our family.  Orin and Kalia have been the best biggest siblings, and have (for the most part) enjoyed stepping into these roles. Crystal Mill & Slow Groovin BBQ in Marble, CO

  We had decided to take a late summer adventure to Marble, Colorado.  Our intention was to do some hiking, eat some BBQ and see the Crystal Mill, and well... Fried okra and onion rings. Pulled pork sandwich. A side of baked beans. Pulled pork "Hillybilly Nachos" Slow Groovin' BBQ has been around since 2010. They are open seasonally, from May 1st until October 31st. 11am-9pm daily Here is their full menu:  (*Note, the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were SO good. We took them to-go so we could continue our adventure to the Crystal Mill!)   Highly reccommend stopping here if you are ever near Marble, and especially if you are adventuring to the Crystal Mill!
